Enron: 10 Years Later

December 2nd, is the 10 year anniversary of the Enron bankruptcy filing. The author makes the case here that during these intervening years, the overall situation has worsened and looking at he shenanigans around the mortgage and financial meltdown in 2008, this view is hard to dispute.  That said, we should be careful of the intellectual trap that "they all do it". They don't.  The fraud, defalcations and low morals of the Enron leadership team remain (thankfully) outliers and will continue to be studied and discussed for years to come.
