Forget the Polls, Follow the Money: Obama has $61 million cash on hand vs. Gingrich at just over $350K

No, that's not a typo. The new Republican flavor of the month, Newt Gingrich, has a paltry $353K on hand vs. President Obama's $61 million.

By contrast, Rick Perry has $15 million with Mitt Romney not far behind at $14.5 million.

Money is not everything, as they say, but it sure helps. In this regard, Mr. Gingrich's performance, to date, is pathetic.
