What Annual Income Level Constitutes Being Rich?

According to a Gallup poll over 50% of Americans polled, think the annual salary that makes one "rich" is $150,000...evidently many of those polled don't live in high-tax, high-cost jurisdictions like Los Angeles/

Per the Tax Policy Center's calculations on income distribution, a household earning cash income of $150,000 would fall somewhere between the 89th and 90th percentiles. In other words, the typical American believes anyone in about the top tenth of the income distribution counts as "rich."

I think having a six digit annual income constitutes being rich. Exceeding that, one will be wealthy without a doubt.
